Mr Kiran Singisetti is a lower limb orthopaedic surgeon based at Nuffield Health Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital and Spire Washington Hospital. His clinical practice focuses on primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He also treats soft tissue knee disorders, such as meniscal and ACL injuries. He is passionate about trauma care and undertakes a variety of trauma-related surgeries, including complex periarticular and periprosthetic fracture fixation of the lower limb.Following his basic and advanced surgical training, Mr Singisetti went on to complete the Cavendish Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in Sheffield, UK, and then an AO Trauma Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA. He has also undertaken a number of other fellowships including the British Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowship and the Charnley Latta Travelling Scholarship.He is interested in medical education and teaches on a variety of regional, national, and worldwide trainee courses. He is also a faculty member at Royal College of Surgeons courses and an ATLS instructor.Mr Singisetti has given presentations at international gatherings such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the British Orthopaedic Association. He has also written various articles, book chapters, and co-edited a book.
